Junior Achievement of New York (JA New York) works with more than 1,700 volunteers to deliver financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness education programs to nearly 22,000 K-12 students in Nassau and Suffolk counties each year. JA programs empower young people to own their economic success, and prepare them with the knowledge and skills to be the leaders that will help fuel the growth of tomorrow’s economy on Long Island. JA shows students how money, careers and business work.
