GRANT FOR WOMEN — Annual InnovateHER Challenge Awards Grants Up To $40,000

Grants represent free money that doesn’t have to be repaid, and very few are available from the government. With one exception. This one is offered every year by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The U.S. Small Business Administration hosts an annual competition for businesses who develop a marketable product or service that positively affects women’s lives. MWBE Outreach | Governor’s office of storm recovery (GOSR)

GOSR encourages Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) to participate in the rebuilding of New York from Hurricanes Lee and Irene and Superstorm Sandy by promoting economic and contracting opportunities. For purposes of procurement, GOSR follows the New York State established overall participation goal of 30% for Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) participation, 15% for Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (MBE) participation and 15% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE). This program has been developed pursuant to generally accepted principles and applicable state and federal regulations.
