Nemahun Vincent is a dedicated entrepreneur and founder of tea+munchies, a Long Island-based woman- and minority-owned business. Collaborating with co-owners Nyandai Vincent and H-Soba Vincent, the tea + munchies mission is to provide handcrafted, small-batch loose leaf teas and artisanal baked goods that seamlessly blend exceptional taste with a commitment to 100% natural and/or organic ingredients.
Armed with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in biology, Nemahun has embraced the precision and empirical approach of the scientific process and developed a passion for creating exceptional products. This foundation has been pivotal in her role as a tea artisan, where the delicate art of blending herbs intertwines with the rigor of the scientific method to craft exquisite beverages.
Beyond tea, her journey as a budding baker is characterized by a methodical approach, mirroring the principles of biology. By incorporating housemade vegan butter into select offerings of tea + munchies’ vegan baked goods line, she ensures both flavor and quality are paramount. Taking a non-the-ground approach, you can find her manning the booth at several farmers’ markets on Long Island.
