Lissette Hidalgo is a creative entrepreneur whose innovative spirit has been a hallmark of her life. A proud Ecuadorian, Lissette is deeply passionate about her faith, family, art, communication, and business. From an early age, she cultivated a close relationship with God, making her faith the foundation upon which she has built and enriched every other area of her life.
Her journey in the arts began at the age of eight when she started her path as a landscape artist, earning numerous accolades throughout her school years and competing against other schools in her city until the age of 18. Her proficiency in English and French allowed her to expand her professional growth and hone her communication skills as a volunteer and member of the Junior Chamber International in Ecuador, where she had the opportunity to serve as Vice President of International Relations from 2002 to 2004.
Lissette earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Business from Berkeley College in New York in 2006 and a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Nova Southeastern University in Miami, Florida, in 2010. Since then, her professional career has been centered around accounting, where she has worked with various companies across New Jersey and New York.
Now residing in New York, Lissette has been serving in the Hispanic Women’s Ministry at Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle as a volunteer in digital design when needed since 2019, and recently, she has taken on the additional role of volunteer English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor for beginner Spanish-speaking students starting in September 2024. Her service in this ministry has allowed her to connect deeply with the Hispanic community, serving with love in every project, growing in her understanding of God’s word, and discovering new talents within herself.
In the post-pandemic era, Lissette embarked on a new professional journey in digital marketing, pursuing a diploma in Psychology of Marketing & Business Growth through distance learning from UDIMA University in Madrid, Spain. Her passion for YouTube, where she created and managed her own Christian and business interview channel, “Lissette Hidalgo Channel” (2020-2022), along with her love for art and digital design, has inspired her to explore this unique path, ultimately leading to the creation of her own company, Lissette’s Digital Design & Media, in February 2022. Recently, her company earned MWBE certification from Suffolk County, guided by the Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise Coalition (SCWBEC).
Lissette continues to advance in her new professional field, setting short-term goals and taking steady steps to serve the communities she is deeply committed to.
