Installation of 2019/2020 Board of Directors
All are invited to witness the Installation of the SCWBEC Board of Directors for the 2019/2020 term. This year, SCWBEC celebrates its 30th anniversary, and the celebrations begin at this important event. We will also take time at this ceremony to recognize our sponsors. SCWBEC’s history as a transformative resource to women business owners has been built on partnerships with the many successful organizations that support us.
SCWBEC board members are all volunteers. They work hard to bring important information and learning opportunities to the membership, and they also make the time to provide fun and inspirational events throughout the year. Join us at the September 12th Board Installation as we kick off this milestone year.
Councilwoman Cartright serves as a Committee member of the Association of Towns representing town governments by providing advocacy in Albany, monitoring legislation and regulatory action on behalf of the towns. She has served as a tireless and community-conscious advocate and attorney focusing primarily on civil rights and criminal defense. She regularly serves as a panelist or guest lecturer for Bar Association events, speaking on various legal issues and at community organization events where she addresses issues of community concern.
In addition to serving as Councilwoman, Ms. Cartright serves as an Adjunct Instructor at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue.
