An informative presentation by Nilka Enck, Sr. Stakeholder Liaison, Internal Revenue Service, that will provide small business owners/new entrepreneurs with educational information, resource tools located on IRS website www.irs.gov and address highlights of the “Dirty Dozen” Tax Scams.

Presenter Bio: Nilka is a Sr. Stakeholder Liaison with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for 37 years. Through her career she has worked in various positions (Tax Examiner, Taxpayer Advocate, Tax Compliance Officer, Sr. Tax Advisory Specialist, and the position that she holds now for the past 22 years, in which she now covers both up and down state New York. As a Sr. Liaison Nilka collaborates with all taxpayer communities to support voluntary compliance and provide tax education and information for their members. Partners with groups and organizations for individuals, small businesses payroll, practitioners, including multilingual, underrepresented, and underserved communities. During the filing season, she volunteers at various Volunteer Income Tax Assistance mobile sites.
